Diesel
Diesel was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma back in August of 2019. Opted for amputation, chemo, immunotherapy and Diesel’s owners contacted me to get a custom balanced Raw Ketogenic Diet started for him.
From Diesels owner: “Just wanted to give you an update. Diesel is doing great! His oncologist is very pleased with how he looks. His last oncology appt was the 12th of August 2020, and she seemed a little surprised to be honest. (original prognosis was 10-12 months at BEST)
Diesel is maintaining his weight. He’s eating 75-80% of meals (only less than 100% on the day after oral chemo which is every other day). His energy is great. His coat looks fantastic. No sign of Metastasis to his lungs. I asked the doctor if she ever gets to use “remission.” I spoke candidly with her reminding her of the statistics that she had quoted me at his first appointment. She said that he is definitely in surgical remission for osteosarcoma but that he has to reach the 2-year mark before she will say full remission. We are now at 1 year since symptoms began. We are so blessed to have had this extra time with him and continue to love on him from day to day. 
Thank you for all your help with his diet. And for answering all 1,342 of my questions. Thank you Mike, I’m so glad we kept trying with the diet. It took a solid 4 months. The green lipped muscle powder helps.
My thoughts: Phenomenal that Diesel is able to live a great quality of life that he is living! We’ve seen it time and time again when the diet is changed and the diet is done right, powerful things can happen. It’s not always easy to stay committed to feeding a Raw Home prepared keto diet. But it pays off and Diesel is a shining example of just that!
