If you’ve ever had to remove and replace the self-adhesive foam pads that are on a cat exercise wheel, you know how much of a pain it can be. The foam pads tend to rip apart in pieces when you try to remove them, and they tend to leave residual clumps of the adhesive pads stuck to the cat wheel that are impossible to get off!

They’re cute, they’re “sometimes” Cuddly, and they can almost always be mischievous and destroy the very things you buy for them that are supposed to keep them OUT OF TROUBLE!
This was my solution to make my life easier after struggling the first time trying to do this using a heat gun/hair dryer in an attempt to warm up the glue and then use my fingers to painstakingly push and roll the pads up off of the cat wheel. needless to say, this took forever, it hurts your fingers, and I still wasn’t able to get all of the pad removed cleanly from the cat wheel surface.
I first used the Purdy 5-in-1 paint scraper tool to carefully start working the edge of the foam pad up off of the cat wheel surface, The video below explains the rest of what I did !
