After filling out this information form for you dog, please also fill out the food sourcing form to help me know what types of foods/proteins/organs/offal you are easily and readily able to source so I know what foods I have to work with when formulating the diet plan for your dog. please give as many details as to the types of food/proteins you are able to source. 90/10 ground beef, 80/20, 70/30, liver, heart,kidney. The more details you provide, the more time we can save going back and forth via email going over all of this! WE CANNOT USE ANY SORT OF PREGROUND/MIXED MEAT! I.E. PREMIXED BEEF WITH ORGANS, OR PREMIXED BLENDED PROTEINS. THESE RECIPES MUST USE INDIVIDUAL PROTEINS AND/OR ORGANS. ALSO NOTE THAT POULTRY IS NOT THE PREFERRED PROTEIN FOR KETOSIS AS IT IS HIGHER IN POLYUNSATUREAD FATS, WHICH CONVERT POORLY TO KETONES- THEREFORE, BEEF IS THE PREFERRED PROTEIN AS IT IS HIGHER IN SATURATED FATS.Note about sourcing your ground beef! The higher fat ketogenic recipes benefit from the fattiest ground beef you can source. i.e. 80/20 is preferred vs 90/10. 70/30,75/25,73/27 is even more ideal if you can find it. These fattier grinds are not typically found at local chain supermarkets but are more likely to be found at smaller stores like Aldi, or independently owned stores etc.
