The custom meal plan is created using food items that you are able to source locally. Not every dog owner has access to the same things, so the diet plan is formulated based on what you’re able to source. Or maybe you’re just starting out for the very first time as a raw feeder and you want to keep things as simple as possible, then we could choose to omit various organ meats that a more experienced raw feeder may choose to include in their dogs diet plan. But don’t be intimidated to go “all in” using all of these items, if you can follow a recipe cooking for yourself, then you can easily do these ketogenic diets for your dog !
You will choose food items that you are able to source and that your dog likes from a comprehensive list commonly used in these diets
A very detailed information form for your dog will be filled out so we can not only get all of the basic information for your dog, but also some information that allows us to get the whole picture of your dogs living environment and things being used in your dogs diet that may hinder the ketogenic diet’s effectiveness .
A 5 page detailed nutritional analysis of your dogs diet plan is included to ensure that all nutrient levels are being met that a canine requires. A 10-day large batch recipe is also included

(you will see various options/prices, for dogs with cancer we will ultimately wind up using 2 different ketogenic recipes, A higher fat/ratio meal to start with and then we taper down to a lower fat/ratio meal after 120 days. Having both recipes in the beginning also allows you the flexibility of having the 2nd recipe to fall back on should your dog get tired of the higher fat recipe which does happen from time to time. That being said, option 2 (2 recipes) is the most popular choice among my clients using ketogenic diets for their dogs with cancer- dogs with epilepsy we also typically wind up using several different ketogenic ratio recipes until we find the right fit for that particular dog. I like to start with lower ketogenic ratios (lower fat) and work our way up until we find what works, vs starting at the extreme high ratios (read: highest fat content) which although may have better chances of working for epilepsy, then we never know if a lower ratio may have worked for that particular dog. some dogs with epilepsy can do very well on the lower ratios while others we wind up having to resort to the higher fat ketogenic ratios until we find solutions for the seizures)
